Radio Dreams
USA · 2016 · 91 min · Farsi, EnglishA small immigrant radio station spends a whole day waiting for a rock legend to show up. Any diaspora, in any city, can make this story its own.
It’s a big day for the little radio station Pars Radio, broadcasting in Persian from San Francisco: Metallica is going to jam in the studio with Kabul Dreams, the first rock band from Afghanistan. But first, everyday life intervenes, in a dryly comical way.

Why it travels
One day, one location, an ensemble cast. Swap the diaspora, the language and the rock star for any local community and any icon; the deadpan humour and the heart travel intact.
